Cassidy Gold Corp. has learned that a state of martial law has been effected by the government of the Republic of Guinea, West Africa. Cassidy has temporarily shut down its operations in Kouroussa, Guinea, and Cassidy personnel are waiting outside of Guinea, in Bamako, Mali, until it is decided to resume operations. A report on Feb. 13 from Kouroussa confirms that Cassidy infrastructure remains safe and sound. Cassidy enjoys an excellent relationship, developed over the years, with the people of Kouroussa. Cassidy anticipates resumption of operations shortly.
